Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1982. Kim Agersten started his carrier at Krogs Fiskerestaurant and Extra. In 2004 he started working together with Jakob Mielcke, first in the kitchen at Hurtigkarl & Co. and later at Mielcke & Hurtigkarl. In between he has travelled the world and worked for the likes of Noma and WD50 (New York).
He has been an indespensable part of Mielcke & Hurtigkarl since the very beginning in 2008. Today he is Head chef and the backbone of the kitchen where he perfectly complements Jakob in their shared creative proces.
Kim is Head chef at Mielcke & Hurtigkarl.
